Beth, a registered veterinary technician since 1993, has always had a fascination with Great Danes and large breed dogs. She likes everything about Danes. Their affectionate nature, their tendency to sit on furniture, the loyalty & possessiveness they have for their people & homes.  She received her first Dane in 1980 and currently has three,  Dancer  (7 year old mantle male), Jet (18 month old black female), and Jazz (10 month old black male).

Beth has always been interested in rescue and had noticed the need for one in the Houston Area for a long time.  She was thrilled to be a part of GDRST when it formed.

When she finds the time away from work and volunteering with the Rescue, Beth likes to read, garden and has taken up skating.
