The 12th Annual Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Mardi Gras Parade

Location: Registration is at 26th & Seawall; parade is 27th to 46th St.

Date: 02/14/2010

Time: Registration starts at 11 am with the parade starting at 1 pm.

Description: This event is sponsored by the Galveston Island Humane Society.  Pets and their humans are encouraged to wear their Mardi Gras finest – or any fun outfits that make them feel good.  A costume contest is planned prior to the parade and winners will be announced at the conclusion.  This is a fun event for the whole family.  We will not have a booth at this event but several of our volunteers will be on hand participating in the parade.  Hope to see you there!
