Tip of the Week

Christmas Dangers for Your Dog.

It’s that time of year where we Deck the Halls & Jack Frost nips at our noses.  It is also the time of year where we can mistakenly make dangerous situations for our dogs while being immersed in the Season.

Food Dangers: As always, it is important to keep chocolate, nuts, onions etc… away from our furry family members.  The are toxic to them.  For more info on toxic human foods, please follow this link: Toxic Human Foods

Christmas Trees: Most trees  have a low toxicity, however, the needles can get stuck in paws and can cause upset tummies if eaten.

Plants: Holly, Mistletoe & Poinsettia  are all toxic when ingested.  If you need to have them be sure to but them where your pets can’t get to them.
