Tip of the Week

Skin Tags on Great Danes are not uncommon.  Chances are if you find one on your dog, it mostly likely has more.  The good news is that, in general, skin tags are noncancerous.  More often than not, the only reason to remove a skin tag is if it has been injured or is irritating to the dog.

If you notice a skin tag around your dogs mouth/lips or you notice that they are changing in size, shape or color, see your veterinarian.

*Always check with your veterinarian if you are unsure.
