Not everything that is safe for humans to eat is safe for our pets. It is always a good idea to not feed dogs what we eat so as not to encourage begging. However, there are a few food items that should be avoided.
- Avocado (all parts)
- Rhubarb leaves
- Spoiled Foods
- Alcohol
- Yeast dough
- Coffee grounds, beans & tea (Caffeine)
- Raisins and grapes
- Tobacco, cigarettes & cigars
- Xylitol (sweetener)
- Cooked Bones
- Chocolate
- Corn cobs
- Onions
- Garlic
- Macadamia Nuts
