Not everything that is safe for humans to eat  is  safe for our pets.   It is always a good idea to not feed dogs what we eat so as not to encourage begging.  However, there are a few food items that should be avoided.

  • Avocado (all parts)
  • Rhubarb leaves
  • Spoiled Foods
  • Alcohol
  • Yeast dough
  • Coffee grounds, beans & tea (Caffeine)
  • Raisins and grapes
  • Tobacco, cigarettes & cigars
  • Xylitol (sweetener)
  • Cooked Bones
  • Chocolate
  • Corn cobs
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Macadamia Nuts
