We can only help/save as many dogs as we have foster homes for. We at GDRST are always in need of loving people/families willing to open up their homes to a dog in need. We do not have a shelter that we keep the dogs in. They are placed into foster homes. By having the dogs in a home environment it makes it easier to get to know the dogs personality, helps them recover from medical issues/surgery faster, and makes the transition into their “forever home” easier. Thank you for contacting GDRST and adopting to save a life. The process begins by completing an online application (https://saveadane.org/adoption/adoption-process/). Upon receipt of your application, we will verify your information about your current pets with your veterinarian. We will then proceed to schedule a home evaluation where we can evaluate your home, current pets, and family to start the matching process to see which great danes that we have in our program would be a good match for your family.
