- Here we go. It is time for the 2022 Hurricane Season, which is from June 1 – November 30. That being said it is always possible for named storms to pop up out of season.
Here is what experts expect our season to look like this year.
- 19 named storms (winds of 39 mph or greater)
- 9 of those could become hurricanes (winds of 74 mph or greater)
- 4 of those could become major hurricanes (category 3, 4 , 5; winds of 111 mph or greater)
