Adoption
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue Dane. Whether you decide to adopt from GDRST or another rescue, the fact remains that you are saving a life. Be sure to check our Calendar for information on upcoming Meet & Greets and Events where you can see some of our dogs up close.
Adoption Fees:
Effective September 2019, GDRST is required by law to collect sales tax on our adoption fees. Adoption Fee with sales tax will be shown in parenthesis.
$400 ($433) for dogs 0 – 2 years of age
$300 ($324.75) for dogs 2 – 6 years of age
$200 ($216.50) for dogs over 6 years of age
$325 ($351.81) for 0 – 1 year of age Great Dane mix puppies
$200 ($216.50) for mixed-breed dogs
When a dog is adopted they receive:
- Collar
- Pinch collar
- Leash
- GDRST tag
- Microchip tag
- Heartguard (unless dog received it within a week of adoption)
