Hurricane season is fast approaching. It is from June 1 through November 30. Now is the time to start making preparations just in case an evacuation is needed. Forecasters are estimating a high level of activity this season. So far, they are predicting 16 storms, 8 of which will be hurricanes and of those 4 will be major hurricanes.
