Wow! It’s hard to believe that another year comes to a close. As you celebrate the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 please remember to take a few extra precautions to protect your pets.
Fireworks are pretty much guaranteed on this night. It can be fun and enjoyable for us humans but for your pets, it is terrifying. Best thing to do is keep them inside. Even if you have a well fenced yard, scared pets always find a way to escape from what is scaring them. Make sure that they have their collars on with identification and that their microchip information is up to date. A safe place for them to hide can give them added assurance as well as using ambient noise (tv, radio, fan). And don’t forget to provide plenty of toys that can keep them busy and distracted.
