Hurricane season is upon us. It is from June 1 through November 30. Now is the time to start making preparations just in case an evacuation is needed. Forecasters are estimating a quiet season this year. So far, they are predicting 11 named storms, 5 of which will be hurricanes and of those 2 will be major hurricanes.
