Featured “Special Needs” Dane – Molly

Meet Molly!!  She came in with an injured leg which she is learning to use  and to use the muscles that have atrophied ( The vet feels that she had a previous FHO surgery done on her hip, and the aftercare was not the best , so she learned to not use her leg and lost the muscles in her leg).  Trust us this does not slow her down – Pure bundle of sweetness and fun.  Loves other dogs, kiddos and life!  She is an 11 month old, tall, and leggy girl.  She is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and will be spayed prior to adoption.  She is a very striking and beautiful girl, who has a huge heart to give.  She uses the leg to run and chase squirrels, run and play and is getting stronger each day.  The vet feels it does not need to be amputated, but that she will always have a limp.

If you think Molly may be the right girl for your family, please complete our Adoption Application to get the process started.

  1. We are interested in finding out more about Molly. We raised two female Great Danes, and the last one passed away 2 months ago. They are lovely dogs and we raised them as family.
Please let us know how we can talked to you, if Molly is still available.
    Thank you,
