Sam is a wonderful fawn Great Dane who was dropped off at the kill shelter to be euthanized. GDRST rushed to the shelter when called to help. Sam is older and does have a few medical issues that all older Great Danes face. He is wobbly in the rear end due to arthritis and old age. Medication has helped him a lot to stabilize his rear end but he needs to be in a home where he has more area to move around in.
We are looking for a home that will take care of Sam for whatever time he has left. He is a very calm boy who loves to watch the world go by. Sam is about 7 years of age, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Neutering has been postponed until we can help Sam get into a home. He doesn’t hump or mark. Sam has not been treated well in his life and GDRST wants to help him live a grand life for whatever time he has left. No children under the age of 12, no smaller dogs, or puppies.
