Vinny’s Story
Vinny is a handsome Mantle Great Dane with natural ears. He is a large boy with the typical Great Dane Personality. He has been very well cared for and is seeking a new family that can provide that for him.
Vinny is a real “couch potato”. He has a very laid back, easy going personality. He is very loving but not demanding. He spends a lot of his time laying around the house and prefers to sleep with his owner if at all possible. He is housebroken and is very comfortable on long trips in the SUV. His energy level is moderate. He loves to play with other dogs. He frequently attends daycare and ironically some of his best playmates are the smaller dogs, though he plays well with larger dogs too. He doesn’t demand much attention but does look forward to daily walks, trips to the doggie parks, and “throw and fetch”. He would prefer a home where he is the only dog and in a home with older children. He is very sweet and obedient, he is even trained to respond “off leash”. Vinny is a few pounds overweight due to his inactivity and would really benefit from an environment where he has opportunity to get out more and exercise.
